Child, 7 -  Rode Out In Front of Ice Cream Van.

An ice cream van driver had "no time to stop" when a child cycled out in front of him, an inquest heard. Coroner Nicholas Rheinberg said that Renzon Manfredi had experienced "every drivers nightmare" as he overtook a parked mini bus on Wroxham Road, Great Sankey and was in collision with seven year old cyclist Ryan Dale.

The inquest at Warrington Coroner's Court heard how Ryan's parent's Stephen and Samantha had kept a close eye on the youngster after giving him the BMX bike for his birthday.  But he had been playing with friends less than a quarter of a mile away from his home when tragedy struck.

Mr Manfredi said he had "no idea" that Ryan was about to cycle into the road from behind the minibus as he drove towards it.
Recording a verdict of accidental death, Mr Rheinberg added: "There was nothing he could do and no warning he could sound to avoid collision."
